TRANING PROGRAMME SCHEDULE

 

Day 1

* Issue of ski equipments.

* Introduction of all the ski parts and its utility.

* How to put on the skis and take out the ski.

* Walking with single skis on a flat ground.

* Walking with double skis.

* Balancing-sliding-side slopping and herving bone steps to climb up hill.

* Fall & recovery exercise.

Day 2

* Repeat all first day exercises.

* Sliding down and how to stop.

* Snow ploughing exercise to check the speed.

* Snow Plough sliding in a medium and slow speed.

* Lecture by Ski instructor on ski care and its maintenance.

Day 3

* Repeating snow plough exercises.

* Snow plough turning exercises.

* Snow Plough turning through slalom poles.

· Snow Plough turning by keeping hands on the waist on the knee by

holding hands behind the neck by holding in front and back etc.


Day 4

* Repeat all 3 days exercises.

* Mastering your snowplough skills.

* More confidently in a various speed and various terrain.

* Pole plantation exercise while turning.

Day 5

* Stem turn exercises.

* Basic swing exercise.

* Uphill stem turn with pole plantation.

* Downhill stem turn with pole plantation.

Day 6

* Repeat all 5 days exercises long distance ski descending exercise with

a long traversing.

* Long stem turn descending.

Day 7

* Free skiing in the morning session.

* Graduation ceremony.

* Participants will be awarded certificates and badges.
