DALHOUSIE – MANALI CHOBIA PASS
4966M. (8-10 Days)
1st Day: Dalhousie to Khajjiar (1951 m.) Distance 20km. Walk via Kalatop or direct through thick forest and the wild life sanctuary.
2nd Day: Khajjiar to Chamba (996 m.) Distance 18 km. Descending and having good view of distant mountains and Chamba town down below.
3rd Day: Chamba to Bharmour (Base camp) (2195 m.) Distance 64 km.
4th Day: Bharmour to Chobia (27745 m.) Distance 15 km. Via Hadsar. The rout first goes down to Bundhil River & then ascends. Chobia is the last village in this rout.
5th Day: Chabia to Alyas (3355 m.) Distance 12km.) 6th Day: Alyas to Alyas (3250 m.) Distance 15km. Pass is situated between Brakanda (5877 m.) and tent peak (6133 m.)Final patch is very steep .descend over stone and crevices to other side.
7th Day: Alyas to Trilokinath (2915 m.) Distance 20 km. It is both Hindu and Buddhist temple. Both worship the six armed image of Avalokiteshvra of bodhisttava. Stay for the night or go down to Udaipur to catch the early morning bus.
8th Day: Trilokinath to manali (2050 m.)Distance 9hrs. By bus via Udaypur.
