MANALI TO LAMAYURU

(Duration): 23 Days

1st Day:Manali Darcha by bus/coach via Rohtang pass, Keylong (total distance 145 Kms). Overnight in camp.

2nd Day:Darcha- Pilamo (8km trek).

3rd Day:Pilamo Jankar Samdo (14 Kms trek).

4th Day:Jankar Samdo-chumic Nakpo (15km trek).

5th Day:Chumic Nakpo Pankhay (18km trek).

6th Day:Pankhay Karga (20km trek).

7th Day:Karga – Yal (21km trek) Enroute Shing Tangtse, Kuru Villagers.

8th Day:Yal Surla (23km trek) (visit Phuktal Gompa).

9th Day:Surla Raru (20km trek)

10th Day:Raru Bardan Gompa (19km trek) (Enroute mone village)

11th Day:Bardan Gompa – Sani (20km trek)

12th Day:Sani Karcha (six hours -17km easy walk)

13th Day:Karcha Pishu (six hour’s 22km easy walk)
Zanglacan be visited from renam village Enroute. Camp near Pishu village down on the bank of Zanskar River.

14th Day:Free Day (visit Zangla –Old Capital of Zanskar.

15th Day:Pishu Hanamul (4hours - 16km easy walk)
Passing through Pigmo village, Consisting only two houses.

16th Day: Hanamul – Nytse
After crossing 2nd pass Parfi – la (4,800 m) cross brodg and camp near the stream. Nytse village is not a permanent village.

17th Day:Nytse Linshad (13km trek)
After crossing 3rd pass Hanamul-la (4,877 m), Camp near the village Linshad

18th Day:Linshad base Singy – la (7hours -22km trek)
On this trek two passes Natakulai-la (4,200 M) and Kubalal (3,800M) are to be crossed before reaching at the base of Singy-la

19th Day:Base of Singy-La Photoksar (7hours 16km trek).

20th Day: Rest at Photoksar.

21th Day: Photoksar – Sombo (7 hours -19km trek)
Startimg early in the morning and crossing 8th Pass, Sirsir-la (4,990 m),Sombo is reached.

22th Day:Sombo Shilla (5hours – 19km trek)
Today again start early in the morning as you have to cross river about 32 times before reaches Shilla.

23th Day:Shilla Lamayuru
It is last day of trekking on this trek rout. After crossing 10th pass. Printiti-la (3,400 m) it is take 21/2 hours to reach Lamayuru. Visit Monasteries and drive (124 km) to Leh or (106 km) For Kargil
