Route highlights
JS1: Manali to Leh by jeep
Through the Atal Tunnel into Lahaul, past Keylong and Jispa, over Baralacha La (4,890 m), across the Sarchu plains and up the Gata Loops, over the More Plains and Tanglang La (5,328 m) and down the Indus to Leh. The road is about 428 km and needs a night halt on the way, usually at Jispa or Sarchu.
JS2: Manali – Spiti – Kinnaur – Shimla
Over Kunzum La (4,551 m) into Spiti, with Chandratal, Kaza, Key Monastery, Langza and Tabo, then down to Nako and the apple valleys of Kinnaur at Kalpa and Sangla, and along the Sutlej to Narkanda and Shimla. It is a full circle of the high Himalaya in Himachal.

Which vehicle is used for a jeep safari?
We use SUVs such as the Innova Crysta, Scorpio N and XUV 700, or a Tempo Traveller for bigger groups, driven by drivers who know the mountain roads well.
Can I change the itinerary?
Yes. Choose one of our itineraries or send us your own route, and we will plan the night halts and quote for it.
What does a jeep safari cost?

When is the season?
Manali – Leh and Spiti via Kunzum La usually open from June to September or October. The Kinnaur – Shimla side is open for most of the year.
