Day 1: Arrival in Leh – Acclimatization & Local Exploration

• Check-in at the hotel; rest for acclimatization (Important due to high altitude).

CLOTHING

During the summer months, light woolens are required in Leh. Spring & autumn are cold and woolens are necessary. During winter, temperatures sometimes reach minus 10 deg C in Leh city and heavy woolens are required.

Getting here

By Air: Leh domestic airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport) is well connected to the airports of all major cities in India. By Train: There are no operational railway stations in Leh. Jammu is the nearest railway station, at a distance of 590 kilometres. Jammu railway station is well connected to the Indian railways network.

By Bus: Leh is well connected to cities like Manali and Srinagar, Jammu, Delhi and Chandigarh. You can take JKSRTC deluxe buses to travel to and from the city.

What to Pack:

1. Must carry heavy woolens, sweaters and scarves especially if travelling during winter, Shoes are needed if you plan to indulge in adventure activities.
2. Basic medicine like Vicks, tablets like Avomine, Metacin saridon , Dimox etc.
3. Umbrella, if travelling during December.

14 days to 07 days prior to departure of the tour 75% of total tour cost.

07 days to 01 days prior to departure of the tour 100% of total tour cost.

There will be no refund for NO SHOWS.
