Late Afternoon optional visit to Chokhi Dhani an ethnic village resort to view folk dances, puppet show, camel ride etc. and enjoy Rajasthani Dinner. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Jaipur. Day 02: Jaipur After breakfast excursion to Amber Fort, the Old capital of Jaipur Rulers. Ride on the back of an elephant from the foots of the hill up to the gates of the fortress. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Jaipur including Maharaja’s museum and Jai Singh’s Astronomical Observatory and Hawa Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel in Jaipur. Day 03: Jaipur – Bikaner (361kms) In the morning drive to Bikaner, this is true desert county and situated directly on the ancient caravan route which linked west / central Asia and North India. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Evening visit the market. Overnight stay at the Hotel in Bikaner. Day 04: Bikaner – Jaisalmer (332kms) This morning you will drive to desert city of Jaisalmer, check into your hotel on arrival and rest of the day is at leisure for individual activities. Overnight at hotel. Day 05: Jaisalmer Morning city tour of Jaisalmer visiting the Fort that seems to rise out of the desert haze, its yellow sandstone walls and bastions taking on a golden hue; in the afternoon visit Manek Chowk, Patwon -Ki -Haveli and Salim Singhji -Ki-Haveli. Also visit Gadisar Lake and Bada Bagh. Further proceed to Lodruva, an important Jain pilgrimage centre dating back from 12th to 15th century. Drive on to Sam Dunes to get inside into desert life. Camel rides (own) on the sand dunes here are an unforgettable experience. Overnight stay at the Jaisalmer hotel Day 06: Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (285kms) Today you will drive to a historic city of Jodhpur. Check into your hotel on arrival. This afternoon you will visit Mehrangarh Fort (citadel of the Sun) and the Jaswant Thada, a cenotaph of former Jodhpur ruler. This evening is at leisure. Overnight at hotel. Day 07: Jodhpur – Udaipur (259kms) Today you will depart for Udaipur the citadel of Mewar, enroute you will stop to visit famous Ranakpur jain temples known for its intricate carvings. On arrival into Udaipur check into your hotel and rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel. Day 08: Udaipur Full day tour of Udaipur visiting city Palace- the largest palace complex of Rajasthan, Jagdish Temple – built by Maharana Jagat Singh and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Sehelion-KI-Bari, Bhartiya Lok kala Museum- a museum of folk and art, it displays a rich collection of folk dresses, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, folk music instrument and the Shilpa Gram.
