Best Season: April to November Leaving the metalled road from the Dhungri village we emerge on to a path that leads steadily uphill through verdant forests and green meadows. On the way you also get fabulous views of the mountain peaks all around and Manali town far below. After a pleasant three-hour walk through forests of Oak, Fir and Deodar, we reach the beautiful green meadows of Lamadugh strewn with wild blue primroses. It is also a popular grazing ground for local shepherds. From here you get stunning views of Indrasen, Deo Tibba, Hanuman Tibba, and other famous peaks in the Manali region. Lamadugh is a lush green meadow above Manali and affords magnificent views of the Entire valley and the mighty pir panjal and Dhauladhar mountain ranges. The pleasantTrail goes along the Manalsu stream north west of the town and ascends through verdant forests of Deodar and oak trees. This is also the home of the Monal Pheasant, Tragopan Pocupines. Packed lunch is provided and you can enjoy it relaxing in the meadows of Lamadugh with Panoramic vies of both the pir panjal ranges to the North and the beautiful Kullu valley to The south.
